Hillary for President!
I am so thrilled that Hillary has officially announced her Presidency run for 2016.
As many conservatives and old fashion minded people continue making their arguments for the reasons in which a woman would not make a good president; I am here to wholeheartedly disagree.
To begin with, her resume is impressive.
Clinton graduated from Yale Law, where she met Bill and went on to work for the Children's Defense Fund and passed historic legislation for children's education. As First Lady of Arkansas, she founded Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families. As First Lady of the Country from 1993-2001, she fought to reform our healthcare system, and give affordable coverage for families. In 1995, at the UN Fourth World Conference on Woman in Beijing, Hillary gave a revolutionary speech declaring,“human rights are women's rights and women's rights are human rights once and for all”.
In 2000, Hillary was elected to the U.S Senate from New York (becoming the first woman ever to do so) .
In 2008, after an unfortunate defeat in her run for President for the first time, victor Barack Obama asked her to become the Secretary of State and, despite disappointed in her loss, she accepted the position to, once again, serve the public.
Whereas people cannot genuinely question her credentials. There's a greater value to electing Hillary Clinton as president...
...she is a woman.
Women are born with an instinctive obligation to care for people. And as recent events of social, political, economical and sexist injustice have unfolded in the spotlight due to the highly-communicative nature of the world we live in today. There has never been a more critical time than now that the world needs nurturing.
Enough with sexism, racial injustice and corporate greed. There is way too much access to knowledge and education for people to continue waging wars and attacks for superficial reasons.
Women are the only gender to experience the journey of making human life, so it is inherently undesirable for them to want to destroy it. When a woman sees a child, despite their illness, gender or race we accept them, and love them because we have the hearts of mothers.
Mothers want peace in the world for their children to flourish and grow. A woman would bring people back to actual civilization.
They say that a woman is too emotional to become President, or too weak to run the most powerful country in the World. But I argue that a woman has all the compassion and strength to re-build the World to the way it is suppose to be.
