Life Lately

According to my iPhone...

Such a delightful Sunday, my girl Amy and homemade nachos.

New in from the Barney's Warehouse sale, I got these Acne Studios babies for nearly 75 percent off.

I thought you all should know that Steph and I bought the same dress (see wedding post here). Which we plan to wear together frequently, especially to any team activities where we can show we're on the same team, naturally.

Dinner at Glasserie was to die for.

Found this great website were you can make yourself famous in a few short clicks.

My beautiful little sister, Abigale, celebrated her 10 year adoption day on Sunday.  How lucky we are to have her!  This is her after a recital last winter.

Inspiration ::: T-Shirt Dress

August is creeping up on us, the hottest month of the year.  In this hot hot heat sometimes all you want to do is throw something on, comfortable and cool.  That's where she comes in, the T-Shirt dress:

Wedding Season

Summer means weekends away, dinners al-fresco and ice cream after dinner, and starting in your mid twenties (if you are not part of a huge extended family) it also means wedding season.

My cousin Frankie and new cousin Heather's wedding was one of the top parties of the season.

The reception was hosted in a beautiful Pleasantdale Chateau, that once was once a private estate, and is now available to rent out for parties.

Guests were even able to stay overnight in a limited amount of rooms, which means the party was never shut down.

One of the many halls in the Chateau that led you around the amazing multi-acre property.

Wearing: Dress (Loft), Sunnies (Quay), Handbag (Rebecca Minkoff)

My handsome date.

Cocktail hour was served throughout the building, with tables set up on the lawn to enjoy the feast.

My lady friends.

Secret corridors.

My sister and mother-goose.

After cocktail hour, we went into the grand ballroom for dinner.

And what a beautiful site it was...

After settling in, we awaited the arrival of the newlyweds.

And introducing Mr & Mrs Valente!

Let's get the party started!

We decided as a group tequila sunrises was the cocktail theme for the night.

And after multiple trips to the bar, we danced the night away with the live band!

Followed by an after party in the library bar. A great way to end the celebration.

Thanks Heather and Frankie for a great night!

Somewhere Over the Weekend ::: West Village

On Saturday Allie and I made our way to the West Village with the goal to play darts at Kettle of Fish.

We decided to walk along the beautiful Greenwich Street.

Wearing: Culotte Jumper (Forever 21), Sunnies (Ray-ban), Fringe Bag (Polo by Ralph Lauren), Shoes ()

Wearing: Skirt (Ganni), Top (Zara), Bag (Coach), Sunnies (Illesteva), Shoes (Michael Kors).

Cute little park with some fancy west village bird houses.

I wonder how much the rent is for these (hehe)

A cute flower arrangement and neighborhood friendly dog bowl.

Our destination.

A few weeks prior, we had come to Kettle of Fish and I played a 'for-real' game of darts for the first time.

After about 3 hours of playing, and being defeated each time, I left with a urgency to keep playing and win my next game.

I am proud to say that I won two games in a row vs. three other players!!!!

Actually, Allie and I are the real victors, because we were the underdogs and were determined to beat the boys, which we did!

Christopher Street during golden hour.

After achieving my goal, I decided to treat myself to a champion cone of ice cream!

Pistachio and Oreo Cookies! My two favorite flavors!

Ice Cream for the winner sponsored by Dolce Gelato :)

Our intention was to head home after the bar, but the weather was so nice we couldn't help but grab another drink on the patio of The Duplex.

Cheers to the Summer in New York!

Cherry Limeades + Bulleit = YUM

I change my mind every day, but I think the West Village is my favorite NYC neighborhood.

Also, I'm super ecstatic I finally found my sport.
