Ladies We Adore ::: Edie Sedgwick
I recently started reading Edie Sedgwick: An American Girl and I have to say - She is just as captivating as she was to the underground New York City scene in 1965.
Known for creating her own look - short platinum hair, leotards, tights, dark eyes and chandler earrings - Edie's style was just Edie. She quickly climbed the social ranks in the city, using her charm to get out of situations she never even had to carry a wallet.
Her peers describe Edie as someone who's dance moves, outfit and energy caught and kept your eye - always. For being one of the most bad-ass nonconforming female in the early 1960's - we adore Edie Sedgwick.
