Travel ::: Aspen
Out second day in Aspen we woke up to bright blue skies, which was a relief because the weather report said rain all weekend!
After grabbing breakfast across the street at a little french bistro we headed into town with no real destination in mind but take in the scenery.
Aspen is a pretty small town, at the valley of the mountain.
We walked right into the saturday farmer's market with the crowds.
Bikes for rent and for sale.
Food trucks, local produce, arts and artisan crafts lined the streets.
This bakery with all it's delicious treats lined up really caught my eye.
And this almond and chocolate cookie caught my eye.
Promenades in Colorado are pretty common (I've been to one in Boulder, Denver and Aspen) and they couldn't make me happier! No traffic while eating, drinking and shopping?!
Everyone has dogs in Aspen it's like dog heaven!
Also, everyone treats them like their little angels - leaving out water and treats...
...and letting them cool off in the fountains from the heat.
We stopped for drinks outside - Moscow Mules seem to be the drink of the town.
Really loving the chairs and chandeliers at this boutique.
At around 3pm we retreated back to our apartment to get ready for the wedding a top the mountain which I will share in a separate post.
