Around Town ::: Mansur Pop-Up

I've been dying to check out the Mansur Pop-Up for some time now, being that it is right down the street from my office. So, when the weather was nice last week, I finally found my chance!

The store is located at 134 Wooster Street in Soho.

The store had gone through a Candy Shop spring transformation right before Fashion Week started.

The walls painted in yellow from floor to ceiling were filled with rainbow candy displayed in jars with the Mansur Gavriel treats lined up between.

Goodies on goodies on goodies!!!!

The way the store is set up really felt like you could just pick one of the bags of the wall and pop it in your mouth.

This orange mini Sun Bag really had me tempted.....

it just looks so bright and cheery!

Shoppers from around the world!

If you ever find yourself in the Soho area, make sure to stop by the pop-up (even if you can't afford the merchandise) it's worth the trip!

Valentine's Day

A recap of my Valentine's day

The week started with seeing Valentine's flowers everywhere!

I picked up this adorable pink heart fur keychain to go with my red Chloe for the day.

Yummy cake at Martha's Country Bakery

More flowers!

The cutest Hello Kitty with heart framed glasses and all.

I met the boy after work and we headed to Jimmy at the James Hotel for drinks before heading uptown for dinner.

They had this adorable LOVE installation on the rooftop.

After a drink, we headed uptown to Harlem to have dinner at Ginny's Supper Club.

Ginny's is a classic Harlem food destination where you can enjoy dinner and a show.

The interiors are very classic Jazz club.

The supper club is connected to Red Rooster - I have my money on that this is the best creole food in NYC.

This year, the performer was Grammy Award winning lyricist Timothy Bloom.

He sang some classic R&B songs that really hit the heart where it hurts. He was also very interested in making sure everyone got lucky that night.

The best part of going out for dinner, the beginning and the end - drinks and dessert.

On the way home, walked through the "Love Tunnel" set up between 14th and 6th ave where the 1 train meets the L.

And came home to more flowers! Probably one of my favorite Valentine's Day yet!

Hope you lovers had a good day!
